I want to go to MMI, but that isn't going to happen.

 

All the college money the Army gave me is going to pay for Sebastian's college. I already have my career. College is expensive enough right now. I can't imagine what tuition is going to cost in 18 years.

 

is the army goin to be ya career or are ya gonna do some time and get out

 

I already got out once... I'm not making that mistake again. I'm going to be in the Army until I retire. I'm putting in a Warrant Officer packet as soon as get promoted.

 

does that mean ya will get promoted to warrent officer or what.

It means I won't be enlisted any more, and won't have to deal with all the little details that enlisted soldiers have to deal with... I'll be an officer, based on my knowledge of being a mechanic. Right now, I'm a Specialist, which is one rank below Sergeant. I'll be promoted real soon.

 

As a WO, I won't have to worry the stupid little tasks us enlisted guys worry about, I'll get to live in Officers housing (much nicer than Enlisted) and if I ever have to go back to Korea, I'll be able to bring my family with me.
