'96 was the last good one here, but yeah...the news and all of their hype drives me nuts. I wish all of the people who are afraid of the snow would just stay home.

everyone here (and e****ally the teachers at pinkerton) are always bitching "its so cold today, i want summer to come" and "man, i have the fu*king snow, i just want it to melt" and my responce is always "you live in cowhampshire, its january, and global warming is at least 10 years away. so qiut your bitching or leave because noone wants to listen to it."

and people with suv's that cant drive them in half an inch of snow on a flat-straight road to save their lives (mainly blonde's on cellphones) make me want to kill people. everytime theres a storm here theres at least 2 escalades, 4 denalis and 20 suburbans in the snowbanks.

 

My wife's SUV is amazing in the snow...and she won't drive it. But she is smart enough to know not to go if she is afraid to drive, works for me because I drive it when it is all chitty outside. You can't blame her though, she is an asian and a woman...a great combination of two types of stereotypical bad drivers.

and, i think that they dont get that when you put a 7000lb. truck on the road, push it along at 45mph and try to make a 40* turn in snow.... youre not gonna make it. plus the fact most people women or not are inexperienced with maneuvering any better than halfassd so they just lock em' up and slide further[sm=bangbang.gif] personally, i find it entertaning.

 

Dude you would have loved some of the stuff we did in Korea. I did some amazing things with HMMWV's there. And they are very capable if you learn how to drive them properly. I remember when a road was washed out up in the mountains, so I had to get a run up the cliff face so that it would slide down on the other side of the gap in the road. The craziest part was driving where they were building the railroad, and the tire ruts were made by those giant dump trucks...not even hum-v's can run with those trucks.I learned how to off-road without ever spending my own money

i lovethe assh0les that cime out when the snow hits.. the road to my house is a 55mph road. i can pilot it on the 7 at a steady 65-70 with absolute ease.. 120 is within reason as well, so you can imagine its not a very demanding and complex ribbon of pavement.. so what do i see tonight with a mere 1" of powder on the road? yes! cornhole #1.. doing 20mph in the 55 zone. perfect. this is the kind of moron who causes accident.. not prevents them by their "cautious" (in their mind) driving..

Grrrr.. makes me wanna club baby seals.

i don't mind snow at all - but i HATE when its freezing cold for a month with no snow.

 

Hahahaha SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After weeks of storms, and snow and freezing weather it finally warmed up and melted everything and I rode the KLX to work. The sky was dark and gloomy but it held off long enough for me to make it. Yea two mile commute,...its rough. Man it felt good to get out there again. I almost forgot which side was the brake and which side was the clutch.[8D] MMMMMMMMMMM Coffee good, I'm almost outta creamer, please send some! Black is wack.
