I feel like whoring it up
Buderus is the best of the best for oil, Germany's finest. It is a three pass boiler with extremely low stack temps, paired with the Riello burner it can't be beat. Veissman is a nice boiler but looks like hell after a few yrs of taking the jacket off on cleanings and the Biasi is a 3 pass and holds about 3 1/2 gallons on the small one to 13 gallons on the large. they all have lifetime warranty
I don't have any of the 3 in my house,I use MPI monitor heating and my house is an 1840 post and beam farmhouse with newspaper behind the clapboards for insulation and my annual usage is 360gallons a yr for heat. I got my first delivery of k-1 for the yr and I have only used 167 gallons since I fired them up in september
you couldn't imagine how many customers I talk into piggy backing an electric hwh with their tankless coil to save $$ in the summer. My boss would have a fit knowing they are shutting down their boilers for 6 months
We get $800 to replace a tankless coil and I tell them to go to homecheapo and pick up a $140 electric hwh and pay a plumber a $150 to install it.And they get a 15yr warranty to boot, why sink 800 into a 20yr old boiler when you can buy a new Biasi for $900
