I've made no secret about the fact that I am a poseur on this forum, never rode a bike in my life. All my life I have only seen bikes buzzing down the freeway, didnt seem too exciting to me. I actually thought it was much too dangerous for what you get out of it. But last summer I saw alot of bikes leaving the parking lot at school and there is sort of an S-turn on the exit drive. Watching those bikes effortlessly sweep through the turns I saw the connection between the rider the machine and the road which you just cant feel in a cage, and I wanted to feel that connection myself. Since it was already the end of the riding season, and I didnt want to store the bike for 4 months, I swore I would get one this spring. While researching different bikes I decided on the Ninja 500 after sitting on one at the dealer, and stumbled on this forum while searching for info, and got roped in by the family. Little did I know that my school finances for this semester would fall through and I would have had to drop out if it wasnt for my credit card, which I have to pay off now and still cant afford a bike yet. But I'm gonna join you guys as soon as I can

Dr. Bling, Bling says you make long posts because you suffer from some kinda kawasaki forum quilt (KFQ) lmao...it's cool I know there are a couple of folks on here w/o kawi's or even motorcycles . I suffer from CRS so I couln't remember if you had one or not that's why I asked. You want to ride that's all that matters...plus being on the forums is a good way to learn about the different models and mods and all that jazz.

 

Sorry was making a long post in sights and sounds, attacking some poor noob. Yeah I've learned more about riding here than anywhere else, especially safety stuff. I just hope my 750+ posts of mindless banter has enhanced the site instead of just annoying the big scary tattooed bikers.

Nothing much, I'm putting my long windedness to good use on an essay due tomorrow,I had 2 months to do it, but started 2 hours ago.

 

I remember those days...I kinda miss'em

 

well I got caught up talking to my sister in law, now I promised myself I will wake up early to finish it...like that ever happens

 

procrastination...I am glad I didn't know about the Kawasaki Forums when I was in school.
