Man its depressing reading some of the news for CA.. Yesterday was a record-breaking day for foreclosures in California. 5,238 properties were scheduled to be sold in auctions. This is just ONE days worth, and every day hundreds more go back to the bank.

if the banks would be a little more lenient on forclosing in certain cases it could save a lot of trouble down the road.
for exampe - subprime mortgages that they raise the interest rate beyond what the people can afford to pay. sure the people weren't to smart for doing it but still it benefits nobody to raise the payment to the point of forclosure. rather cut the rate back enough that they can continue paying money to the bank. the bank makes money still and the people keep their home.
