Lol i've been here a year and a half now. less time to ***** at a desk believe it or not. too many people to yell at in oil&gas! I'll make a solid effort thought.

 

Time flies, Last I knew you were knee deep in mud drilling sideways or zig zag or some impossible thing. I remember it like it was yesterday...but not really

 

Yup, my only regret is I didn't take enough pictures. Although people get angry when your standing around taking pictures when there's work to be done

Still doing the same thing, only I manage a remote operations drilling center. So instead of one guy out in the field watching one job, I have one guy in an office watching 20 jobs.

Mornin' ******!!! Base inspection is done...the *** kicking/tasing/pepper spraying has come to an end with the final exam last night...graduation is Friday night with a party to follow!!! Also taking Monday off

 

Party is friday night and your gonna need monday off? Thats one hell of a party brotha, wish I could go

Woohoo! On that note I just got a call from the boss saying I'm headed to Rochester, NY tomorrow to get fitted with an infrared camera. Then its off to Elmira, NY. The IR project is gonna suck, 10+ hours a day but it will go quick and I'm getting out of Iowa, so its all good. Maybe when its done I can go home.

 

sounds pretty cool...are you using film or digital for your jobs??? more money for your bike!!!

 

digital, they give us 2 620GB HDDs per day, we usually only shoot around 15k pictures per day so we dont come close to filling them up
