How in the hell is everyone ???? It has been a long time, but like a nasty infection I am back. The first sunny 50 degree day, i fired up the ninja and went for a ride. Everything was fine for a while and then I pulled in the clutch to shift and it stayed in. I was like what the hell. The cable was frayed and a the clutch lever was loose. Upon further examination, I learned the lever assembly was defective. The threads inside the lever that hold the cable in were shaved and gritty. I took it to the dealer on a trailer. They said the lever assembly appeared to be defective and wore out premature. Its one month out of warranty, but he is going to check with Kawasaki and see if they will make it right. The part is coming form Japan, so it nay be a week. Oh well it's raining today anyway.
