I'm being productive at work today. My friend just got her M1 so I'm looking on Craigslist for ninja 250's I think an ex500 might be to tall shes about 5'2-5'3

The old gen 250's use the 16 inch rims and are a good ride for short people. pre 2008

I'm looking for the older model 250's they are cheap too. Something 2k or less. There are acouple for sale in this area. The one nice one I called about was already sold.

agreed. I picked up my wifes bike for $1100, but had to go pick it up. But anything $2k or less with good tires, etc is a good buy.

New parts is a double edge sword. Only riding I have done since I got home was hauling wheel hubs for my other project.

The new brakes feel great. So much more stopping power and no spongey feeling. Now to try and sell the original CRG's I had on the bike.
