I feel like whoring it up 2 (official new whoring thread)
Speaking of which...what's up with coffee prices??? YEOW!! Got a can of ground Folgers for the office and it was over 10 bucks!! The gourmet stuff in the bags is outrageous....!!! Did the Columbians finally figure out they can make even MORE money selling coffee????
Holy crap; this place has become the KLX 250 Forums....
Really, where are all the sportbike guys and gals? Am I the only one with a dedicated streetbike on this site?? (Besides Worlok...?)
Nothing against the KLX'ers, really; I love a good romp in the dirt on the 'ol Husky, but C'MON!! Post up, you streetbike folks!!

right on, was going to ask you about that ride. I am not really knowing why get rid of an RC51 and get the 1st gen 10r. What are you thinking!!!!!!! Love both rides though, I cannot wait for the reasoning theory now.
Good to see ya back
as much as I like the RC-51 as crazy as it sounds the 10R is more practical. The 10r is more comfortable easier to find parts I need and way better MPG then the RC-51. Plus deep down I am a Kawi fan. Just waiting for my friend to show up to give me a ride to get the bike.
The side radiators put out so much heat on the RC-51 the frame ends up acting as a heat sink. In the summer it burns your legs. It gets so hot that you can not put your hand on the part of the frame where you legs are. That was the thing I hated about the RC-51. I really really miss the big V-twin sound

good report. still wouldn't mind one in the stable on the RC51 I feel ya on that heat comment. Nothing like baking while sitting still in traffic
I still only have the VFR 750 (only honda street ride) in which I really think is a cool ride as well.
I know that you will post up pics on your first gen 10r. Hell, I am excited for ya on that ride

just got home. Holy crap this bike is awesome.
So much more comfortable then the RC-51, the zx10 is like sitting on a sofa compared to the RC. The bike is silky smooth and the power so very linear and predictable. Then again I didn't take it over 8k rpm yet. The front breaks are not as good as the RC51 the rc had steal braided lines and wave rotors. The bike is much more nimble then the RC-51 but it doesn't have that awesome sound track the RC-51 has. Best of all no heat issues like the RC-51. Here are pics
