Burt Munroe was the "World's Fastest Indian," played by Anthony Hopkins in the movie.
If you haven't seen it, RENT IT. A must see for every biker.

I won't belabor the point, but my FAVORITE scene is where Burt is in his shop, fabricating parts. What the movie doesn't convey are the smells. I KNOW those smells from my Gramps shop when I was a kid. Used gear oil, cutting oil, lead solder, Hoppe's Gun Oil (in my case), Camel smokes, old leather, sawdust, bike exhaust......indelible memories.
I hope someday my daughter remembers me the same way.....

 

DUH!!! Now I remember, I loved that movie, seen it a couple of times, in fact on my first poker run back in 06 I won that DVD as a door prize. He played that part perfectly.

 

I have it on my shelf right beside, On Any Sunday.
