I feel like whoring it up 2 (official new whoring thread)
Hey Wedge, Deejer doesn't get out much. Probably never heard of Gerbings.
I always had a fear of hooking up wires from the bike to my person while riding. Something about that just seems....well....why does the image of a short-circuiting toaster come to mind? I like to ride in all weather; been out at 18 degrees and plenty of downpours. Hell, ANYBODY can ride when it's sunny and 72. I dunno, I guess I just stick with the R-30 (insulation) aka Michelin Man look. Plenty of padding if I dump it.....I'll look like a busted feather pillow!!

HAHAHA I'd try it just not sure of the outcome! URAL would make it --two wheel drive!
Hey all you ******. I know most of you are in far off exotic lands such as california and other riding meccas with seemingly endless riding locations, also seems to be alot of northerners on here crying about the cold winters too, but I was wondering if anyone on here happens to be around the southeast, Texas area.
I have been looking for some riding areas around and so far with the exception of the beach run from Sabine Pass to (which was pretty cool by the way) have been so far unable to unearth any solid information on offroad areas open to motorcycles.
I am aware of some MX park - tracks and done some searches etc, but feel those might be a little too crowded for my tastes. I have been making short runs on back farm roads and county roads, mostly exploring and getting used to the bike and realizing that I need more gear to add to the bike. Rack, fuel etc. any advice is appreciated as I am the unprecedented effin new guy but I am having a ball!
Post up byatchees if your close, Ive got a few buddies with Honda 650s but it seems its rather difficult to get them off their couches.
Update: I wrung the bike to 85 yesterday (must have been slight tail wind) and while not something I intend to do alot, it was nice to actually see on the speedo. Wonder how fast I was actually going?
Peace
