Default I cant believe what happened to me today!!!

I was ridin with my boys (gsxr 600 and yamaha yzf) and in the middle of the road im trying to shift up and dont feel anything. Look down and my gear shift pedal is hanging near the floor. Pull off into the middle of the road and take a look and notice the bolt that holds the pedal in is missing. So i had to ride in 3rd gear on the highway since we couldnt find the damn bolt! Since my bike is brand new i had no luck with anybody near me having it in stock and trying to charge me 50+ dollars for 2 day shipping on a 2 dollar bolt. Finally found a dealership that will ship in 2 days for 10 bucks. Sorry had to vent somewhere and figure somebody out there would understand...pz

does suck.....new, used, old, don't matter. every oil change, every visible bolt gets checked.

At least the shift lever didnt fall all the way off!

hahaha, that was my story deej on my brand new 750F

pick up that bolt from lowes or your favorite hardware store. and then complain to your dealer. But as mentioned, check your ride prior to hopping on, it is a big deal in the end. Glad that you were not hurt.
