I don't send strangers money - (mostly because i have none) but i do send prayers and offer assistance if they are in my area.

Maybe it's just me, but if my hubby had cncer and we needed money, the last thing I would be concerned with is this bike and how to check the oil. Not saying this is all a big scam that has continued page for page, but I have only prayers for the poster. I believe maybe this is not as on the up/up as it should be, but I could vry well be wrong. I think I will send up my prayers to the family, but reserve my monies for other instances that I can verify. I am not heartless, just cautious.

I fought cancer for 3 yrs, from 2000 to 2002 and never ever once asked anyone for money,I had car clubs donate money from dances( Dad and a few friends belong to clubs) The KNIGHTS of PHITHIAS lodge I belong to took donations and helped me out and others I didn't know just helped any way they could. Word of mouth is what helped us through tough times with the bills piling up and no insurance.I did multiple rounds of chemo and every time they said I was clean they would do a blood test later and have me back in hooked up to a pump for a week at a time.My doctor had me going back and forth to Dana Farber cancer center so many times they knew me by first name when i would walk in.Finally I ended up at maine med center and did a stem cell transplant and april celebrated 5 yrs healthy but still get CT scans regularly with blood work. When I first read the begining of this thread my first thought was to immediatly send $,fortunately my job pays very well, but after reading on I just can't trust the scams of today that prey on emotions. My prayers go out to you and your family as I have been where you are, forgive me for the mistrust but If I kew you I would give all that I have to help.~PAUL~

Paul, I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. How's life treating you these days?

Things are good,I got back into riding, and pretty much do anything I never had the guts to try before.I found life is way too short to worry about the small stuff and the big stuff for that matter,I had to change professions due to not being able to to the grunt work of before ,but got back into HVAC and life is good.
