How NOT to sell a motorcycle 101
So I've been looking for a new bike. I admit it. I'm in the market for a CBR600RR. I find one on Craigslist that look very good. Actually, heres the link to it.

Looks nice, right? Well, I go to meet the guy. He shows up 15 minutes late, and the first thing I noticed is how short the man is. He had to lean the bike over to get his feet to touch the ground. But I guess there was nothing he could do about this. I do a walk around and notice some scuffs. He tells me its been on it's side a couple times. one on each side. It was about this time that I noticed his zipper is completely down and wide open. I stay professional and keep going.
I ask him various questions and start to realize this guy knows nothing about bikes. First, he tells me that he never uses the clutch except for first gear and that he power shifts through every gear. Yeah, that's a transmission that's in really good shape. After I ask him to let me hear it, he starts up the bike and revs it into the rev limiter for a good five seconds. Only a man that takes real good care of his bikes does this.
At this point I'm convinced he knows nothing about bikes, and he's been telling me this whole time that he does all the work on it. To make sure he's not putting cooking oil in it I ask him the easiest question I can think of.. How many cylinders has it got? "Er.. Umm.. 2.. I'm pretty sure 2."
No thank you.
