Hillclimb in Oregonia

RE: Hillclimb in Oregonia
Hmm, I've played with a few people over the years, but Forcum doesn't ring a bell. I've played with Tom Webber (big in Cincy area and one he\\ of a guitarist), Bobby Mackey, Red Jenkins, a gig with Pure Prairie League guys (Goshorn brothers), Buddy DeFranco (big band), Randy Purcell (Maynard Ferguson), Rich Martin's son (who is big on the country chart but has some psuedonym for a name), and played every saturday with the house band at the theater in Hillsboro for about 3 years, about 10-15 years ago.Been playing drums since I was 12 andbasically that's what kept me in school (that's the truth; although I did squeak a degree in psychology while I was there.)
Playing with good musicians is like havinga bike set-up just right for the track; everything is right where it needs to be and you don't even have to think. I've played with more than my share of lousy musicians, too. I'd rather have my fingernails pulled out with pliers....
