Hey, whats the deal with some harley riders always wanting to shatter windows as they're passing by? I mean OK, some like hearing the engine but this is just nuts - there is one guy in my area who's doing his best to turn me into vicious killer [:@]

 

there was a study done a few years back and it said the riders with loud pipe are 16% more accident prone, due to the noise distrups their thoughts

 

previous owner of the zx6r i bought had taken the baffles and packing out of the vance and hines exhaust. basicly turned it into a resonator can. at idle the exhaust could almost overpower the horn. above 5000rpm it is deafening.

sure "loud pipes save lives" to a point. but too loud is also bad.

my replacement baffles are in transit

 

I live in a city where there are horrid drivers. its called charlotte. IM expecting one day to put my fist through their window or dent their door or soemting along those lines

 

it happens, key is to see them before you hear them

 

Look at it this way...it's the same as us putting F-1 soundingexhaust on our bikes.....oh wait...sounds so much better!....[sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

everytime theres a hog next tome and im in my truck i give them the rev it up sign and laugh. they think its cool. coutch on wheels

 

Like I tell my friends. If you want a Harley, just sit on the coutch with a fan in front of you,and stick a vibrator up your a$$.
