The last time I went riding, I past a bunch of people on Goldwings. Of course I waved, but not a single one waved or even looked at me. Well I really dont expect everybody to wave, but most people on Harleys and sport bikes wave.
So, I have finally figured out why Goldwingers dont wave, and in my opinion, heres the top ten reasons:

10. Wasn't sure whether other rider was waving or making an obscene gesture .
9. Afraid might get frostbite if hand is removed from heated grip .
8. Has arthritis and the past 400 miles have made it difficult to raise arm .
7. Reflection from etched windshield momentarily blinded him.
6. The expresso machine just finished .
5. Was actually asleep when other rider waved .
4. Was in a three-way conference call with stock broker and accessories dealer .
3. Was distracted by odd shaped blip on radar screen.
2. Was simultaneously adjusting the air suspension, seat height, programmable CD player, seat temperature
and satellite navigation system .
1. Couldn't find the "auto wave back" button on dashboard.

 

Hmmm, they are probably the most friendly riders I encounter. Hell of alot better than the Harley guys. Sure you weren't waving with your middle finger?

I wave at every rider reguardless of which bike I'm on.
2 wheels are 2 wheels to me........ Kind of like woman thier all the same once you lay'em down.

Well, I wave at everybody too, but these Wingers just didn't wave. And I didn't give them the one finger wave!

 

the only ppl i dont wave to are scooters

 

i ride with sum goldwingers. seem alright to me.

 

I give a one-finger wave to squids. Everyone else gets a full wave.

 

it's not wise to one finger anyone around here anymore. shoottings all over the road ways. freeways alot lately, i don't flip people off much anymore
