I park my truck at my girl's apt complex. It's getting late so I head out, except my truck is no longer there. They ****ing towed my truck. $295 if I want it tonight? This is BS. It wasn't in a tow away zone, there were no signs for it. Just flippin' out, that's all.

 

that really sux buddy... so why did they tow it? parked in someone elses spot?

 

I wasn't in a numbered stall. I was only there for 2 1/2 hours total. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I pick it up

 

That does suck, but if there was anything good about that, I would say that getting towed is way better then you posting "Bike just got stolen!"

If it is an unjustified towing you should be able to get your money back. Take some pictures of the spot your truck was in, to show there was no reason to tow, ie no fire hydrants, no signs, you werent parked in a handicapped spot, Cover your *** man, Sorry to hear that.

Yeah, bike stolen is worse than truck towed. At first I thought my truck was stolen, flipping out because I had my work laptop and **** still in there. There was already a dude in handicap parking and they didn't touch him. I'm fighting this.

did you speak to the management and tell them you were visiting a resident? Get her to vouge for your statement and lean on them with where are visitors supposed to park. I would do this before going to get the truck in hopes that they will go and get it for you or else get it released for you over the phone. Otherwise yes - get on them and have them pay you back.
