Just wanted to let all know that we have a stand up member here on KF, thats Madkaw. I recently asked mk for some advice on what was a good stereo system for my truck and if he new any good places to purchase the stuff from. He does car stereo install.

So he promptly responded and had some questions about the vehicle and budget and said he would get back to me. Next day had some suggestions and said that if I wanted he could hook me up with a good deal on the stuff from his work.

After about 10K pms with a million questions that I had, and he always answered them, we came up with a system. He said send a money order and he would ship it to me. So I sent the $$ and a UPS label ready to tape to the package.

Well I got the stuff a couple of days ago with a detailed hand written instruction sheet and all the extra stuff needed to the install. Cannot wait to put it in and be rocking again.

So thanks to mk for his extra help and just a being stand up foo! Thanks Ray. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

It is rare today to find people like that and that is why I wrote this.

Btw I will post up some pics of the install and the equipment on Sunday.

Install update; well after 4.5 hours I have the amp intalled and all the wireing pulled up through the dash. I put the amp under the pasenger seat. The sirus is installed except for the anttena out on the roof but it is ran to the back of the truck I put the unit in the glove box. Dam guess not bad for my first time.

Tomorrow I have the speakers front and rear, the dash kit and reinstall the dash, the new radio and the wiring from the radio. Sounds like another 4 hours.

I will be rocking tomorrow for sure.
