hey everyone....... well i was at the stealer ship the other day, to get an estimate for a 16.000 mile tune-up for my bike..... so i was standing outside in the parking lot with some of the sales guys shooting the ****..... and one of them pointed out this lady who had just bought a brand new 250, and was just about to ride it off the lot..... it was her first time on a bike.... and sure enough, when she got to the end of the drive way..... she drops her bike.... right where the sidewalk meets the street.... so i run over ask her if she's ok.... she says "yup, i'm fine." i lift her bike bike up, and man did she get lucky..... hardly no damage.... just right turn signal and scratches on her pipe.... so she gets on her bike and rides away..... does anyone remember there first fall? ha ha my was at the DMV, with my brand new katana teaching myself how to do the road test.... ha ha ha look back now, it was pretty funny...... take care everyone, ride safe...

 

i was backing up and i had my wife on the back. when i put my foot down there was a 6inch drop that i wasn't aware of so down i went.

 

well mine was about a month ago.....droped it going down a curb.....but its all good now and riding it like i used to

 

my first really hard fall/hit. i was backing my zx7 out of the garage in my appartment and spun around in a damn oil slick, hit the front brake and all hell broke loose. i wasnt even on the bike. lol

 

yup i remember mine like it was last week, well...its was last week. Basically, the roads were wet and my back tire doesnt have enough thread to be on wet roads while hitting the front break semi-hard. So I dropped it at 10mph; frame sliders caught the grunt, and my right kneww caught the rest. Just bruised knee and now im kinda limpy, just sore. Im ordering a new rear tire this week.

Ha! I was riding in shorts and sandals, when I stopped it were on an incline and there was some dirt, put down my foot and down I went. Right in front of about 30 people. [:@] Scratch the mirror, brook the clutch lever.
Was on a Honda V65 Magna, Dam that was a sweet bike. Oh yea I was 22.

 

On a V65.... I used to have one of those!! MIne was in high school back in 1994... was being stupid, some of us were out drinking, and I biffed it doin' about 30 mph with no gear... landed on my head and back on asphalt.. hurt like hell.. live and learn. Haven't dropped one since.. but the way I ride, I'm sure I'll drop another!! It's all good tho... makes for some memories!!

 

what yr was the v65 that you had.....i have one of those in my garage right now....not ryunning though somethings wrong with it

 

Mine was an 1984 I think.... The only prob I had with it was the shaft drive, and the carb boots rotting out... Owned it about 9-10 years ago... wow I'm getting old.

 

the one i got i think is a 83......i have no clue as to what the problem is with it too.....
