Nice ride, is it comfortable on long rides? (50 miles or more)

It has the same seat and ergonomics as the ZX9. I replaced the factory seat with a Corbin - and doing 250 miles in a day is nothing. It is more upright than your 600s and 1000s... so that helps a little too. It is no ST1300 for spending the day on - but it isn't so bad. Over summer I rode to my dad's place, 350 miles away. I stopped every hour and a half for about 10 or 15 minutes, and I was fine. Wasn't sore at all - and went ahead and did another 200 miles the next day Total I did about 1500 in 5 days.

You are right sro, the zzr is great for trips, we rode up to mid-ohio last year and I was alright, and looking forward to it again this summer. My brother rode up withme on his gsxr, and says he isnt sure if he can do the ride again
