wow the three seprate class motorcycle endorsments would blow. only being able to ride a certain size bike [sm=wtf.gif]. here in cali it's one endorsment for all bikes. when i went and did my riding test at dmv i rented a 250 rebal from this guy who tought the msf course and he pulled up towing the rebal on a trailer behind a goldwing it was kind cool....lol i got my license went straight to the dealer and bought the zx10. i rode 12 years with out a license. When I took it back in 1982 there were 3 classes of endorsements, I took it on a Honda CB450 and so I couldn't ride anything above a 500cc. But when I renewed my license a few times ago it just said M3 so I guess Washington got rid of the classes. About 6 months ago when I took the test again, there were 4 of us on 250 dual sports and two older guys that used 150 cc mopeds, and one guy on a 250 ninja, guess who flunked? The guy on the ninja. Those things aren't made to take slow weaves. He hit the 3rd cone, and went again and hit the same cone. I'm not saying you can't take the test on a super-bike, but a dirt bike with blinkers makes it a lot easier.

Congrats... now all i need to do is take my test... I'm going to try it on my 10r though (sigh) I hope I pass... lol

I think that you would do well on the 10 especially since you are used to it by now. The only issue is a lot of clutch slipping to keep it moving but not moving too fast thru the cones or the u turn area.

Have fun.

hes good, the m1 is a 125cc or bigger bike, the m2 is a moped licence or like a bicycle with a motor attached to it.

cool. Just had a tough time thinking that you could pass an open class endorsement with a 250cc ride. I was not able to do that in Oregon.

ca sucks, you can take the test to get a m1 on a 125cc bike, you can not ride anything smaller then a 250cc bike on the freeway. *** backwards rules. i took my zx7 to the dmv just to show them i can make the circle, but the bike wouldnt keep in the radius, i railed the line in a perfect circle, still wouldnt let me pass. a guy showed up with a old 80's cb honda and i gave him 20 bucks to do the test and got er done, this was a long time ago though.

That's weird, because here in Washington an unlimited endorsement is an M3
