just came back from riding down the road and back.........got it up to 50.......pretty sweet. only downside if anyone can give tips or what not. for some reason i have a hard time going from first (i stall out) i move forward, let the clutch out slow, and throttle. sit in place let it out and throttle, etc. tried everything but yet i still stall out a lot. i was turning around on teh road, i stalled out when a car was coming behind me, all i could think is what a dumbass i am. haha any help would be much appreciated.

 

Its just getting the timing down right. It took me a while to get it too! Just keep practicing and you'll be fine. You just need to find the friction point in your clutch and then figure out the right amount of throttle and you'll be taking off just fine!

 

sounds good, i've had my fair share of stall outs, the one day i couldn't get it right i was so pissed, then today i got it first try, then stalled out on the road, haha

sure, what time were you thinking........i got my helmet, jacket and gloves, no boots yet. i took a quick run to the road (towards 19) and back. i was too scared to go on 19, that and my clutch work isn't that good. haha.

 

not sure what time, sometime after 2. I will see what 056r and wayne are doing and get back to ya.

 

i gotta get gas and practice my clutch work, chances are i'll be stalling out if i were to ride with you guys.

 

congrats steve, as said above, you need to feel what your ride is telling you on the clutch work. You will get it down/handled soon.
