Yep It's a shame. He was good.

 

i dont care for their music much, but that still sucks.

 

They are/were great, and a local band too! I don't consider any of these guys punk. Punk is NOFX, Bad religion, Propaghandi, etc. Green day is pop IMHO. These guys are different, emo makes sense I guess.

 

Emo, look it up it's such an overused lame term. i'm into the grundge, heavy anything, punk, hardcore, a little "emo", and anything that rocks!

Earshot and Shinedown have been favorites of mine for a long time. Unfortunately the traditional "punk" music died out but the newer stuff still rocks it's just different. anyone ever heard of the hardcore/punk bands Murphy's Law and School of Arms? amazing bands and they have shows here ALL THE TIME!!

still big into bands like Lacuna Coil, Metric now (thanks....FN?), Floggin Molly (great live band), Dragonforce, Bullet for my Valentine, and Black Flag.


i'm also old school with Poison, Megadeth, Slayer, some Metallica, Meatloaf (haha i know), and CCR. man i listen to too much music.

 

The worst thing bout AAR and Hawthorne Heights concerts tho was 'from first to last'...lamest band EVER!!!

 

the dude from hawthorne heights died like over thanksgiving. it does suck that he died, but the band isn't that awesome

 

no but it still sucks when someone dies at 27yrs old

 

how'd he die? i heard it was in his sleep... any word on more detail, i.e. any pills/booze involved
