I had a lady bring in a Mazda MX6 that had the check engine light on. She said all she did was add water to her washer fluid bottle, and the light came on. I asked her to show me where she put the water, and she pulled off the oil cap and said "In there". That was about the worst I've seen.

That can't have really happened. Nobody can be that stupid. I've had to fix people stupid car mistakes, being amechanic, but never in my life have I seen it that bad. That's a new brand of stupidity.
