Sunday a riding buddy of ours T-Boned a pickup. I did not get the call until yesterday afternoon. He is in the hospital and basically he is crushed from the neck down. He was wearing a helmet thank god!! He was not speeding. His bike was only like 3 weeks old...05 ZX10. The truck pulled out in front of him. He hit the truck in the side, the truck ran over his bike and took off!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guy had no insurance so he ran. He is in jail...they caught him!

Yeah, I have that feeling too. It azazes me how many cagers drive off and leave people in th road like that. We attended a funeral for another fallen rider that was engaged to be married 2 weeks after his "accident". He and his gf were going back to his place and a dude slammed into the back of him and took off! She was following him in her car, but of course she stopped to see about her man, and the jerk got away. It's terrible what some people will do to avoid the law![:@]

Just an update on the hit and run...they don't have the right guy! The guy who did this is still out on the street[:@]. The truck he was driving belonged to someone else. Apparently he was not supposed to be driving it and it was uninsured.
I understand that accidents happen...but you don't run especially when you know someone is hurt.
They need to hang this guy when they find him.
