Default Eight hours wasted..

So, I work at a front desk at a hotel. Check-ins and check-outs are on different shifts but either way, each single one takes about 30 seconds to a minute to take care of. The rest of my work for my shift takes about an hour to 2 hours to do total throughout EIGHT HOURS. So here I am on my laptop, talking to people on aim, looking up things, reading articles, etc., but this gets old.

I've been here since December-LOVE the job, but what else is there to do? I feel like I'm just wasting so many hours in the day when I work and I'd like for some of it to be productive. I don't go to school yet so that will fill the void when I do start, but until then..

Anyone know anything to take up a few hours in my day that'll last a while?

Posting endless threads on this site gets me through the day. Who am I kidding, I would pay to post in here if that became necessary.

Yeah, I post on here every now and then. I read more than I post, I'm sure.

And Big, I'd definitely lose my job if I did that. That'd probably be something I'd consider if, and only if, I had lost my job and had to waste away the hours at home. haha, kidding.

I know-TOO much time is spent on this thing. I could read but when guests walk up and I'm looking downward, they get annoyed. Argh. I know a ton of people who would love to just eff around online all day but daaaamn.

Yeah, I have a facebook but there's only so many things you can do on it. I've been watching movies on Netflix lately so that helps.
