Default Did my good deed for the day

On sunday I needed to go to my friends house in San jose to pick up a rivet gun and help him with a car. Its about an 1 hour drive so I decided to take my bike. About 1 mile after getting on the freeway I see a guy on the side of the road siting next to his older suzuki sports bike. So being the person I am I switch lanes and pull off road and go over to see if he needs help. I get over to where he is and he says his tire has a puncture in it and doesn't know any one around here.Ever since the same thing happened to me i always keep tools and a repair kit in my back pack. So I told him i got a repair kit and some CO2's to reinflate the tire. So I break out the kit we plug the tire and find out he has 2 holes in his rear tire. So we get them both pluged up and fill up his tire. It always feels good to help out people. He offered to give me some money but I turned him down. Figure if I was in the same boat as him I would want some one to help me out. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Thats why i always havemy back pack on whenI ride. You never know whats going to happen. I'm still looking for a good first aid kit with a road rash treatment thing to keep with me in case I go down or I see some one go down.

Rider helping another rider, it doesn't get any better than that. Way to go man. I actually got a little misty eyed reading this. Pay it forward is not just a movie. Thanks man, you have helped me regain my faith in mankind. [sm=smiley31.gif]

any time I do a trip that is more than an hour away from home/friends, I bring a can of fix-a-flat... needed it once... replaced the tire a week later.
