Damn That was a Nasty Virus - I guess KF is Back Up
its good to see the site back up. i think my pc is fine. when i went to the forums i started getting pop ups so i closed everything then ran macafee. im glad att gives you free macafee when you get there dsl. evil if you need macafee let me know.
I had to reformat my laptop, because after finally getting my computer to close the page I ran a scan and I had two Trojans and god knows how many other virus's. I have my laptop up and running agian, but I still have not gotten it to communicate with my wireless router. Anyone know howto get my laptop to communicate with a Netgear router, because I al lost.
You need the drivers for your wireless card first, then in the control panel for that card you should be able to select your router, and then if youhave one set, you need to submit your WEP key to the router.
I never had to add drivers for a wireless connection. How old is your laptop? Are you using an actual wireless card that plugs into the side slot? Or is your wireless built in? It should be discoverable, but in Control panel you might have an icon that lets you manage and add new connections. I don't pretend to know everything.......ok sometimes I do and sometimes I make myself look stupid doing it.

I thought it was down for good, I almost cried I looked at my frame and was like "who is going to be able to answer my brazillion and one dumb questions
My laptop is about 3 years old (Dell xps m140), and and it does have a built in card. When it comes to computers I will be the first to admit I am just completely ignorant in how to make them work.

Saw no virus here... just corrupt ASP code and database stuff on the KF pages.
