damn bugs

But really, when the bugs are out, it's warm enough to ride, that makes me happy. When the bugs are not out, it's too cold to ride, that makes me sad. They give us a reason to wash our bikes before they get really dusty and greasy and do provide lot's of extra protein.
Bugs are like a beautiful women that likes to spend money, you just deal with it cause you love the booty.
So we all need to embrace bugs and learn to love them. It is all in how you perceive them! Was that Zen or what? I think Im going crazy.

my solution is simple - as I really like to have the visor up until about 40 or 45ish...
During the day I wear shades, and at night I switch to the clear, 1-piece safety glasses that are in the trunk. Some of the guys smirk at me, but when they happen to catch that one random bug in the eye and are flopping all over trying to get stopped, I just use a gloved finger to wipe the big off the glasses and keep riding.
Oh - and then I point and laugh.

Yeah bugs suck. The worst time is right as the sun goes down. Then they all come out in one big rush and my visor and the front of my bike gets blanketed with bugs everywhere, lol.
