WOW, that's awesome. I would love to learn how to paint helmets, because I'm something of an artist, and have so many ideas... did this friend of yours give any specifics on how she did it? I can borrow an airbrush...

 

Use good automotive paint (like Valspar who makes House of Kolor) so it doesn't die in the sun, and clear coat it. I'm trying to get a friend of mine to start painting helmets. Remember that if you paint your helmet it will void any kind of warranty it has. Most helmet user manuals tell you not to paint, or put stickers on it.
