i want to pick up one of those extendo batons with the stainless steel ball tip. perfect size for keeping on the bike, and extra good at shattering glass.

ASP is the only brand of baton. I was certified in it's use while doing the police thing. Very effective tool - however - also very illegal to use in most states for the general public - even as a defensive weapon. Use discretion. $.02

 

I had heard they were illegal to carry. I wonder if any of the CCW permits cover them?

 

Wow, that answered the question. My luck I'd go to smash a window going down the highway and I go into a ditch and thrash the bike! The baton would be a great idea, just tuck that puppy inside the jacket,,,whack!
