They would still be just as awesome... you dont change the housings. They would just be whiter (or more blue), and brighter.

UPDATE: I am retro-fitting a projector lens into the headlight housing. End results are gonna be a very sharp horizontal cutoff, and cleaner beam dispersion below. Woo... will post updates.

Well, the beam pattern below is what I had from just putting the kit in without a projector last year:



And this is the end result of a retrofit from an X5 on an RC51... this is what I am gunning for...

Now I just don't know if I should go without the reflector and put a shroud around the projector, or integrate it with the reflector even though it will be completely non-functional. If I use the reflector, I wont lose X & Y adjustment, but I might if I go without and don't come up with a good idea.
