Default Clam digging

Just thought I would share what we did yesterday. Haven't been razor clam digging in like 5 years, so we loaded up the troops and drove an hour and a half one way. They estimated that there were 20,000 people on the beach!!! That's 5 times the population of my town. LOL anyway here are a few shots.

On the way down, Mikes dad driving, talking on the phone and eating....we're all gonna die!!!

Mmmm, like eating a wad of rubber bands. I prefer mussels myself. Nice haul, though, and good times. I endorse this thread, you have my seal of approval.

Most clams I've had have been kind of chewy, that's all I meant. I'm sure fresh clams dug at the beach have to be a nice delicacy - would love to try them sometime.

This is what clams look like We cook them on the beach as you catch em...usually don't have any to take home as they already been devoured.
