There hasnt been many memoriable things in my life... The biggest thing that i talk about in my life is Boy Scouts... i honestly dont care what anyone thinks about being in scouts... best thing in my life ever. Went down to Fort AP hill in virginia in '97 when the scouts created a city at the Naional Jamboree over 30,000 scouts were there. Pretty crazy time. I was part of the guinees book world record "longest fire bucket brigade ever" while attending that trip. My mom had breast cancer, still alive and kicking, my dad is the person i look upto most, the best mechanic i have ever met. He built his own loghouse. I want to be like him when im older. My wifes sister committed suicide, that has been a big thing to over come, she was like a sister. Im thankful to have a wife that lets me live my first original love, two wheels. When i was a kid, i never got grounded to my room, but grounded off my bicycle, horrible, when im on two wheels, i cant describe it. I am happy with my lifes decisions, im 24 have a house, truck, bike, dog, wife, and i am financially ok. Which is amazing... lol.... I dont drink at all, i have seen it mess up too many lives, and i have alcoholics in the family, to me its amazing that people cant believe that i dont drink. Im just very thankful for all i have. For 24 im doing good.... just got a $1.50/hour raise!!
That's awesome Eric, sounds like a pretty good setup right there. Sorry about your wife's sister, was that a recent thing? Oh and on the booze thing, I could take it or leave it, I'm not much for it, hate beer and wine, and can barely drink a sugared up malt beverage. I have heard good things about the scouts, good for you.

Eric you sound alot like me just 3 years younger. I had a house that was completely paid for and sold it for twice what I got it, and live in pretty much our dream home. They wanted 800 originally for it and i got it for just under 700 score! It's 2/3rds paid for and that is the only debt I have in my life. I'm a consultant and have my truck and all of my equipment paid for. I made my first 6 figures last year which I never dreamed of doing at this age. It's great because I used to hang out with some people that were stuck up Cu$%s and constantly tried to remind me how much better they were because they went to university for a business management degree. None of them can hold a candle to what I do and one of them I actually saw bagging groceries.

On to less shallow things...

I've married the most fabulous woman in the world this year. I've got lots to be happy about.

Oh and scouts are a good thing. Teaches you not to be useless.

thats awsome stellar.... what do you do?

Scouts is the best thing in this world, it also kept me out of alot of trouble when i was younger... You learn so much that you cant even put into words, leadership, cooking, firebuilding, time management, reaching goals, communication, just a few of the things... My dad was in scouts when he wasyounger so he signed me up when i was young, i was in it probably for 10 years. Sadly i didnt make it to Eagle Scout.... i was very very close... Being an ealge scout used to mean something, but i have seen some kids go through that were jokers, and never should have been given it. Just because you do everything that is required to get it doesnt mean the scoutmaster has to give it to you.... there were probably 3-4 kids that shouldnt have gotten it... its ashame. One of the kids that was a few years older than me was in my troop and actually was on survivor... Ian from palau..

I knew him personally for years.... we have done alot together in scouts, his dad was an ***, but he was cool... If you have a son, sign him up for scouts... best thing in this world for ayoung boy.

now that i think about it i have achieved alot in my life so far... There isnt many people that can do as much as i can, my wife says all the time how i am so smart, she says i know alittle about everything. I fix my own vehicles, do my own electrical in my house, and my own plumbing. I feel there is nothing i cant do... everything i have tried to do, i do. I have even taught my wife how to solder copper pipe together...lol...
My achievements...

Eric great pics! You're a lucky man to have so much plus a beautiful wife!

Back on track - My best moments are more related to the girl scouts than the boy scouts though!

It's an empty life but someone has to do it buddy!

Lol. I personally didn't make it to scouts because of hockey (I wouldn't change that for anything though, hockey was my life). But I was a beaver and a cub scout. I don't have the armament of a boyscout probably, but I'm still one of the only people in my group that can build a kickass fire without gasoline.

Eric your dads house is freaking sweet. Thats a helluva lot o fire wood!!!!! Did you get to chop all that?

Oh and as for what I do, I'm a measurement while drilling engineer for a directional company. They hire us as sub contractors so I get to do my own books and such. Writeoffs are sweet.

Thats cool stellar.

Yep, every summer its firewood time.... but my dad also has one of these, 32 ton troy built log splitter....

Makes splitting a piece of cake... We have cut trees up to 4 foot in diameter.... we are the ones who come in to get the wood thats "too big" for other guys... The fire building competitions were the best.

I have had to cut down three trees in my yard since I bought this house, they seem to keep dying for some reason. Oh well, more firewood for me, although our log splitter isn't nearly as cool as that one.
