Go take your written test, that way you will at least have your permit. It will allow you to at least ride it around the block!

Vic
Should I pick up anything to study for it, or just go and wing it? Dunno how hard it is.

You can pick up a motorcycle test manual at your DMV to study from. The written part is unfortunately very easy. (I think there needs to be more questions, and harder ones at that.)

what questions do you think they are lacking?

i think the written part is fine. i think the MSF course should be mandatory and shouldn't have a waiting list.

I recommend getting a manual to study for a bit

The written test needs more questions that have to do with safety and accident avoidance. If I remember correctly, most of the questions had more to do with operation of the bike and the same old traffic questions you would find in the main DMV test booklet.

The questions are all the same except for a lane question here in OH. When I moved back I had to take the written tests again for car and motorcycle. The same test just re-started after I finished the first one. It was a joke. Had to laugh at all of the teens in the room who were still there sweating it out after I had finished 2 tests

The written test is rediculously easy, but it helps to study for a little bit before you take it

the motorcycle written test was the same as the car test?

in MD the written test was very specific to motorcycles including questions about how to turn.

It was all the same here, except a question or two. Stupid right?
