I very rarely use water.(unless I get caught in the rain) But I just go through it and wax, polish the rims with aluminum polish and to clean my engine and swing arm I use "son of a gun" it's kind of like armor all but cheaper and it works just as good. to clean the tires I use armor all all purpose cleaner. Maybe like once a year like in the winter I will go through it and take the fairing off and "deep clean " I like using the "son of a gun" on my seat too, it makes it easier to shift on the seat through turns.

I agree with Shon, why don't you guys have us clean your bikes. As the little HS boys that live next to me, they seem to enjoy it when I wash my bike. Honestly, like you don't think I can see you peeping from their window, that's why I wave when I notice them...lol

Anyone else noticed that no one is taking up the offer to have our bikes washed by 'our own' ladies instead of total strangers? Seems to be a bona-fide offer, and I wouldn't even need to gawk like a teenager. I'd be happy just to have someone else do something I can't ever seem to find adequate time for. Too bad you're not in my neck of the woods (at least I don't think you are).....

I'm in CT, but NY (city) is about 45 minutes.. I'm right next to RT 684.

Come on down to Danbury gentlemen, I wash and polish bikes. I did my dad's last night. Onlycharge is that you just have to buy me a beer!

"A" beer? Sounds like a deal that's too good to pass up for you guys up there...1200 miles is a bit far for me to ride for a bike wash, but those of you up there oughta go for that!!

ok, the more I thought about it... maybe a six pack for each bike I wash will be a better pay.
