I actually was going down towards Las Cruces way to hit some twisty action. Awsome road behind Capitan Mountain, heading down from Cloudcroft. The road comes right out to Alamogordo, which is next to Las Cruces. Figured while I was there, would stop and see a trucker buddy of mine. Left the bike at his house, and we took his car to go grab dinner. I remember we were heading back to his house so I could get home. Next thing I remember is waking up in the hospital. I still have no idea how it happened or what happened. They kept telling me I was in an accident, was Tboned on my side of the car. I have not seen the car, so don't know the damage update. Doug is fine. He made it out all right. I am not sure on other car.

Ya, a little sore...Actually a whole lot sore. Back hurts a tad, right arm, right leg... No bump on the head. Wierd? lol... But okay, so that's good. My father in law went down and picked my bike up, cause there was no way I could ride. So, I'm home, bike's home.

At least it wasn't on the bike. That coulda sucked!! lol ..... I'll pop in and out in between naps!! lol lol

Next time I am in a cage, I'm wearing my dam helmet!! LMAO....lol

TX, thanks for the texts while I was down man. And for getting the news up. I could not use the phone for a while, so I was a texting dude...lol... Until they caught me!! lol lol

Good to see you on-line, buddy! Heal well. Hope you got some good pain meds and glad you're bike and everything is all taken care of, and you're buddy is OK too. Sounds like a very close call - those side impacts take a lot of lives, glad you're still with us!!!

 

+1 on the pain meds lol, and heal up well man, looks like vegas is out of the question eh?

 

THe pain meds make you drool... That's no fun. I don't like not being in control of myself. So no more pain meds. I'll just stick with Ibuprofen...lol

I am still making Vegas. If I can't ride, then my father in law said he would throw the bike in the back of his truck and drive me. He knows how much this run means to me. So, I'll be there. The devil hasn't come to collect me yet, until he does, Vegas is still on. lol

The only thing that really hurts is my back. man. I tried to tell the wife that "certain things" lol would make it better, but she didn't believe me!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha
