i have an 06 LT-r450 in the shop right now.. (literally) welded the wrist pin and big end bearings.. oil pump is gone.
( i think it was owner negligence, tho.)

needless to say, i have a manual for this machine should you get one..lol

still (after 2 days of fightig it) have yet to split the cases tho.. its a *****.

the 400 ex is a killer machine, as is the 660.. beware of the carb boots loosening up on them. carry a phillips screwdriver and allen wrenches.... lo

i'd look (personally) for an old skool blaster. alot of fun. nimble, light, stupid fast..
that, or the ex400. i know they roll stoppies.. lol

but ya. thats all i got for ya. have yet really to EVER (save for my own machine) work on ANY honda. they (love kawi.. sorry..) just seem to be one of he strongest running machines out there. i've only ever done clutches on any hnda thing.. 'cept for my '88 TRX300. it neededa CDI the day after i bought it..lol

bt ya.. hondas seem to be rock solid, and i've only ever owned honda for off-road stuff. all my quads and dirtbikes have been big red..

OH.. the polaris 500 predator looks like a fun machine as well.. heard awesome things.. only ever did a clutch on that as well.. seem reliable and all that.. looks like a well-built machine.

Both my homies are into that type of quad,, I like the yfz450 but it was stock,, my other homie has a 400 EX 40 over and that thing will screamm,, he also has that new xxr450r or whatever it is from honda,, all the works, and that my friend is a beast of a differant breed

got a 07 rapper 700 with efi

Whitehendrix, my check engine light came on and its a code 15. I think its the TPS. Is it a hard fix or maybe a wire loose?
