the big boy KFX's are wicked fun..

JUST BEWARE of a dfect in the (i think) 400. not sure what other model has this problem. the metal they use is eroded easily with the stock coolant, and evntually it'll tear up the water pump housing and leak oil into the water, and vice versa. it'll also take out the head gasket. hopefully his is fixed by now? this was on a customers quad..

you want old skool 2 stroke power or newer 4 stroke power? i mean, they're all pretty gnarly at this time.very competitive. the EX's, KFX's, YFZ, (or whatever yami is) and the zooks are honestly all real badass. i'll keep you posted on the 07 yzf (or whatever yami is) 450 .. i have one in the shop. valves kissed the piston. bore is new and scored up.. might be a recall kinda deal? have a new bore (nikasil plated) and a JE hi-comp piston on nnow, going to throw the cams and valves in today (if my shims came in..)

i might atleast be able to warn you of what NOT to get.. lol

i liek old skool 2 stroke stuff, personally.. but i've been on 350 and 660 raptors and such, and they were uber fun. the 350 handles WAY better tho..

theres my $.000275 for what it's worth.. lol

Hahaha thanks White. If you ever get a 400ex in the shop, tell me about it and what was wrong if you could.

WEWT!!! 2-stroke = king. no questions. find yourself a quadzilla and tell me it aint the fastest 4 wheeled thing on the trails.

banshees haul *** to but i personally think theyre overrated.

if you go 4-stroke, and youre looking for reliability instead of focusing on everylast drop of hp, go for a z400/ltz450. theyre tanks. my uncle (harley one) has an 05 z400 and hes put that thing to hell and back, then then to hell again.... and then back. and it still runs and puls like a beast. i bet the kfx's are the same way but i dont know anyone who has one so im not gonna say anything bout it... although im sure its fully whoopass either way, no matter what you go with, if you get a 400cc or more 4stroke or a 300cc or more 2-stroke youll see a world of difference from the rancher.

I use to have a 87 250R but the upkeep is pretty big and it drank so much gas.

Its a 2007 Rancher 400AT. It has on the fly 4wd, 2000 pound winch with synthetic rope. ITP mudlites. Has automatic or push-button shifting. Rode 6 times, and maybe 8 times around my small yard. Never rolled or wrecked. 400cc motor. The honda stickers on the side came off from washing, but we ordered them and we are going to put them on.

Asking around $4000

lol, mine...

03, rolled more than 30 times, 4500+miles beaten daily, hit numerous trees, heavy damage to the racks/brush guards, tonnes of bent plastic and cracked mounts, all 4 rims have at least a slight warp, fresh oil
