if then thin alluminum with holes you buy at the hardware store is plumbers tape, then yes. i needed something temperary to attach to the upper stay bracket to hold the mirrors in place until i can get new plastics.

atleast i got the proper headlight for it, last time i posted a pic i had fog lighs on there.

Yeah BR i have the cdi box but im in NC right now i helped my brother up here from florida. The box came the day i got up here to NC. and i dont return to florida till the 7th. and then i still wont be able to work on it cuz of the fact that i return to work the following day. so ill have to wait another week still untill i get to work on the bike. But there is still no garrentee that the cdi box is the problem. [:'(]

We haven't had the white stuff yet......but this morning it was -5 (brrrrr)! Its supposed to be sunny and around 4 degrees this weekend, so I'm gonna take her out for one last easy ride.

Already got my new tires!!!!! Don't need to replace them right now, but in the spring I do.

man idont know how people go for rides in the cold i have no wind protection on the 10 and the roads a slippery and the wind chill just goes right through my clothes it is not for me[:@]

I don't have much wind protection on the 500, but I've removable liners for my gear (I stay nice and toasty warm)!

The only thing that sucks is that you have to force yourself to take it easy on the throttle and in the corners......small sacrifice to make to get in that last ride!

yup winter sux.[:@] we had are first rain that been going on and off for three days now[:@] but having my KF family here, and tourist trophy:D keeps me sain thru the bad months.:D
