the content of your post is the exact reason I don't have a roommate now. Only my friends knew I might take on a roommate, but I told the interested ones 'no'

i might have hurt their feelings for a day or an hour but they're over it now and we're still friends. who knows what could have happened if they moved in and there was a problem. i could kick out a stranger, but it would suck to have to kick out a friend.

a few of my friends have been living together for a few years now. I guess one of them is tired of the situation and is moving in with his brother. It's really upsetting the rest of the guys b/c now they don't know how their living situation is going to change with the other guy leaving.

I'm damn sure glad I own... the thought of renting gives me anxiety.

just make sure they are clean. one of the best roomates i ever had was almost OCD about cleaning the house. but damn the house looked goof that year.

here in jax there is a topless maid service, they come and clean your house, but they do it topless.

 

good call. my college roommate was real OCD about keeping his side of the room clean. I was a little messy. the roommate he had before me was gross. he had dirty tissues all over the floor around his desk.... didn't have allergies either.
