Wow I just realized how good I have it. Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm an hour for lunch and I can ride home everyday for that. Never overtime, because while I absolutely love my job, no amount of money is worth me being away from my family.

 

I worked that exact same schedule as Road Kill for a year while I was in the military. We called it a Panama schedule. It averages out to 42 hrs/wk and it's actually pretty nice once you get used to it.

My current schedule is Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00. I'm paid salary and I don't do overtime. IMO it's a great schedule, because once you figure in hour lunches (which can easily run over) I'm only working 7.5 hour days.

 

Maybe not so much crazy as exausting:

Primary job 7a-4p M-TH, 7a-11a F

Second job 5p-10:30p T & Th, 8:30a - 5:30p Sa & Su

 

If you call 9-5 Mon-Fri crazy then yes, But I dont think it is so No lol! that sux dude,, what are you a cop or something!

 

Crazy work schedule....sure, at times. Normally its sop with lots of time off....not this spring/summer. Just got a call, 6 pm mind you....yo Finger Mullet we need you in Boston tomorrow morining...the blah, blah, blah is not working right.

Me " well did you check .... " no, no....no time to look you need to come up and fix it...F'er...ok

Btw, I will be in Boston the rest of the week.

 

3 on 3 off 12 hour shifts...either 7am or 7 pm...there are times when it is 4 and 2...or we do the panama schedule which is 3 on 2 off 2 on 3 off...it's always 12 hour shifts though...

 

not a cop any more i work in the patrolium industry as a terminal operator basicly we take in big ships of gas and put it in bulk storage then the trucks come get it from us and bring it to the gas stations

 

5 days a week between 12 and 16 hours a day. No wonder I don't feel like doing anything weekends
