I have a ranger as well.A 98 ext xlt. You have to reach thru the window to open the door.It doesnt have first gear.I love her tho.Shes never left me stuck.Only 75,xxx miles.Im original owner.Im thinking about turboing her.

What you mean split windows?
I have to leave the driver window down or go thru the pass door and open the driver door.
I let me buddy use it and he backed up and the door flew open and said hello to a tree

Befor i stood on the door and jumped on it.You couldnt open it or you would never get it closed.
If you opened it before i did that who ever was standing in front of it ended up on the ground.Car jacker defense
I only got to use it once sorry to say.It ws freekin awesome.

With hondas,cavaliers,berretas and other stupid cars
With neons,huge exhaust,boost gauges(with no turbo),huge tachs, hood scoops,body kits. It drives me crazy.
