Hard to belive but that car is street legal for the area he lives in

 

did he swap the drivetrain? thats a crapload of power at the rear for an awd

 

He is running the 4bolt rear end. The 90 and 91 had whats called a 3bolt rear end. There were 3 bolts holding the rear axels to the diff. in 92 up they put in the 4 bolt. it had as the name states 4 bolts holding the axel to the rear end and also thicker shafts and beefier joints. Now that tranny and transfer case are another story. For that kind of power he is running a locked center diff and his own race tranny. I had my tranny shiped to him to be built up and it was super smoth when I got it back. double synchrod 1st 2nd and 3rd cryo treated parts the works

90's have 3 bolt rearends.91's manufactured before the second week of june have 3 bolt rearends.
91's produced after the second week of june have 4 bolt rearends.All 92-94 cars have 4 bolts.\
