I don't know. I haven't run it since I did my baseline. It ran 15.325 @92.12 with a burned slug and an alternator that was pushin 11V. When I get back to the states, it's getting a 347 stroker and 4.10 rear end. It'll probably run around 11.5

i used to have a 1st gen awd talon. it would always have some issue or brakedown but still was my fav car i have owned. i had two of them one white one red. the one i fixed up had a four bolt rear end 16g turbo safc and super itc (timing controller). full 3" tubro back exhaust intake boost controller data loger atc 2600 clutch shepard transmisson walbro fuel pump, and racing seats. it was a really fun car.

A buddy of mine had a Plymouth Laser. I ended up having to trade cars with him for a couple of days when I hurt my wrist because I couldn't drive a 5spd. It was alright. I liked the interior.It was kind of like sitting in a bunker.

It sucks being here, because most of the links people send me don't work. Also, I can't see a lot of pictures that people post because the pictures are on a site that the gov. blocks off. I have a few videos on my computer at home that has some 7 sec. Mustangs. I've seen some fast DSM's, don't get me wrong. But I've also seen some twin-turbo Mustangs that were completely BAMF. The problem with turbocharged 4bangers is that you have to let the power build, where as with V8's, it's there right from the get go. And the torque numbers aren't even comparable. I'll see if I can have my wife send me a CD that has all my car vids burned onto it so I can try to find a place to post them, but it takes about 2 weeks for mail to get to me. To see the vid I tried to give you a link to, do a Google search for Z51R. There's about eleventy-billion pages that have that video.

Oh yeah, and you'll be hard-pressed to find anything with an exhaust note as intimidating as that of a V-8... There's no sound like it in the world.

Do a search for John Shepard and DSM. He still holds the record for fastest 1/4 time on street tires. He was running I think it was 8's on street tires [sm=yikesomg.gif]

DSM stands for Diamond star motors. Its the series of cars knows as Mitsu Eclipse Plymoth laser and Eagle Talon. All the cars were the same just slight diffrence in body. Same motor and tranny from 90-97. People just called them DSM Diamond for the Mistu symbol and Stary for the plymoth/chrysler logo

Actually the engines are the same from 90-92.5
Then from 92.5 and up as long as there 4g63 engines.Some of the 95 and up cars have a junk 420a.

I will be at the shootout.Im kinda glad it got reschedualed because now it starts the day before my birthday.Last year I was at norwalk for the nopi nationals the day before my birthday.Now the shootout.I love it

He is running the 4bolt rear end. The 90 and 91 had whats called a 3bolt rear end. There were 3 bolts holding the rear axels to the diff. in 92 up they put in the 4 bolt. it had as the name states 4 bolts holding the axel to the rear end and also thicker shafts and beefier joints. Now that tranny and transfer case are another story. For that kind of power he is running a locked center diff and his own race tranny. I had my tranny shiped to him to be built up and it was super smoth when I got it back. double synchrod 1st 2nd and 3rd cryo treated parts the works :D

90's have 3 bolt rearends.91's manufactured before the second week of june have 3 bolt rearends.
91's produced after the second week of june have 4 bolt rearends.All 92-94 cars have 4 bolts.\
