:(
Getting closer. Had a hangup on the forks today - as in - the eyehook in the rafters wouldn't hold the weight of the bike... so... gonna try again tomorrow with a bit more creativity
However - the sprocket and chain went on, and it went for it's first ride... no runs, no drips, no errors... though a single freakin fairing screw vibrated out
So - forks tomorrow, transport it back to the other place, and start putting plastic back on... should be riding this week.
Anyhow... here is the sprocket and chain...

I got it from sprocketcenter.com... they had pretty good prices on the Stealth Tri-Metal. The chain I got form Chaparral Racing, as they were cheaper than anyone else. Now - providing I can use the force and levitate the bike tomorrow while the tubes are yanked out - it should be a good day
I want my 7r to be turbo powered, too bad I got to sell her.

aww. you guys!! c'mon!! you like that, i should post a pic of the 7-R motor i'm building for turbo power.. its a case and a few gears at the moment.. lol
sro man.. theres NO way you goaat spent all that cheddah on those parts. a 7-r head gasket is $64. valve seals are like $10. a piece, (maybe less...) and the fork seals are usually less than $10.
yes, you need (or should at least..)16 valve seals, and should do both fork seals.
i know you don't have a 7, but your bike isn't that far behind in those prices.. shouldn't be, anyway..
but someones RAPING you sir, if you're paying that much for that minimal amount of parts.
valve seals are UBER easy. UBER super killer easy at your point of disassembly.
forks.. way easy being that the bike is sans motor, and light.. lol easy to put on the stand, at least..
all easy stuff.. you need help wih anything, hit it up man.

edit: oops, forgot about the KZ1000 for the wife
As of 30 minutes ago - bike is home.
And I rode it there... hope it doesn't rain tomorrow, as my car is in algonquin.
Got the forks done early this afternoon, some friends came to pick it up and transport it back to where I had been storing it earlier in the winter and all the plastic was off at - I bought them dinner, then I went to put plastic on. Got everything cleaned and installed early enough, and the weather looks good enough for tomorrow - so I rode it home.
Pix to follow - probably tomorrow - or a few days later, as while it is cleaned (with simple green), it still needs a nice Honda Polishing before it will be ready for primetime.
It felt sooooooooo good to "ride home" again
