RE: 900 Classic LT
Welcome to the forums first of all!
Let's compare honda against Kawasaki. The closest bike Honda has to offer is their 1099cc shadow. Honda is known for their well built bikes, but: A. It's several hundred dollars more, B. It's carburetted, (The Kawasaki has electronic fuel injection 'HUGE PLUS!!!') C. What you get when you buy a honda, is very plain-jane. In other words, you have to add on the expensive accessories i.e. saddle bags, windscreen etc. All these accessories are already on the Kawasaki. ($300-400 savings) Add that price to the Honda, and you're looking at over 9 grand!
Either way you look at it, Japanese bikes are all built extremely well. It pretty much comes down to personal preference. I really like Kawasaki for the value I get when I buy one. Their quality is no better or worse in my opinion than honda, they just give their buyers more of what they want from a bike.
Hope this helps some.
Good luck.
