Thumbs up AT 2011 Thru Hike

I leave in 12 days to start my thru hike of the Appalachian Trail. For those of you on here who would like to follow me while I hike, you can do so here:

Hey guys. This is the last time I'll be on the forum for a while. I leave tomorrow morning to head to Springer, and will set out to begin my thru hike Saturday morning. Thanks for all the support in this thread and also a big thanks to those of you who will be following my via my journal.

I'm currently off the trail for now. I decided to end my hike at the 815 mile mark. It was an awesome hike. I'll be spending the rest of my summer in Maine. You can read about the start, middle, and end of my hike here:
