I note that the ZX9R community (as it were), appears to have vanished into thin air (judging by the absence of enthusiastic posts by ZX9R owners here since 2017). I surmise that this is because ZX9R owners have sold or otherwise disposed of their ZX9 type machines and long-since gravitated to bigger & later versions (ZX10, ZX-11, ZX14, etc & et al). If that is in fact what's happened, it strikes me as a bit sad, since the ZX9R is a very nice machine with gobs of power and a responsive nature. I have no intention of following a similar path, but it would certainly be nice to have a few others who still have their ZX9 types to communicate with here. And speaking of that 'get-up-and-go' capability, I note that some bright lad on-line (in the USA) has made up some high-quality white vinyl press-on decals that use the Kawasaki script we are used to seeing on tanks, but that say (cleverly) 'KWIKASFUKI'. At a modest US$ 4 or so, it's a cheap price to pay for a few (equally cheap) smiles as my ZX900E-1 and I ride off into the western sunset. Hi-Yo Kwikasfuki and awaaaaaay!
